For teachers · free · one page
Start each unit with families on the same page.
In about three minutes you can send every family the methods your class is about to use, so homework help at home sounds like your lesson.
1 When
The first week of a new unit, or the night before the first homework that uses a new method. It also works for back-to-school night and conferences.
2 How
- Open samemethod.com/share.html.
- Type the unit name and your name (both optional).
- Tick the 2 to 5 methods you're teaching.
- Copy the link and the ready-made note, or print the QR card.
3 Where to send it
Paste the note into ClassDojo, Remind, Seesaw, ParentSquare, Google Classroom or an email. Put it in the class newsletter, or tuck the QR card into take-home folders.
4 What families see
Only the guides you picked, under your unit name. Each takes about a minute: a picture of the method, what to say and what to skip at homework time, and a free practice sheet with an answer key. No ads, no sign-up, no cost.

Is it really free? Yes. Guides, practice sheets and share links are free for you and for families.
Do families need an account? No. Nobody signs up, and we never ask for anything about students. The link itself lists the guides, so nothing is saved on our end.
Spanish-speaking families? Every K–8 math guide has a Spanish version, linked at the top of each guide.
Printables for class? Each method has a $4 classroom pack on TeachersPayTeachers with an anchor chart, a parent letter and practice sheets. See prices
